As a way to then protect the body the body will break down the mana as a nutrition to heal the body which will make the body mutate because of the intergration of mana into the body. How one becomes an Auror Knight is by either starving almost to death or breaking down muscles so badly that they will break down and cause disabilities. At the moment most people seems to be stuck in the Keter or Euclid class as it is mentioned that in the empire the MC lives in only 4 Apollyon class magic users exists including the MC when he reaches the Apollyon class, the MC being the only Apollyon class Warlock.Īuror Knight: They are people who are unable to become a magic class because their mana is solid and unmoveable. There isn't a known way to progress quicker as a magic user outside of simply growing older and letting the mana naturally increase within the body though increasing a persons mental strength is said to increase the speed to some degree. So far no one is known to have reached the fifth class. Some deals shown in the story includes the summoning of a gigantic monster that controls magnetism or summoning thousands upon thousands of crow monsters that won't stop spawning until the spell is ended, but it's also been mentioned that if a monster with healing powers is found they can be used to cure something incurable like cancer or disabilites.Ĭlasses for magic users are divided into Keter < Euclid < Apollyon < Thaumiel/Thermis. It's a bit random what creature you make a deal with especially on the lower lvls and what powers they will give you from the deals, this has a large part to do with that on the first floor the creatures don't hold names, while on the later floors especially from the third floor and up, they have names so you can try to search for them to make deals over and over. The underworld is divided into different levels and by offering up payment a deal can be brokered with a creature from the underworld. Outside of controlling corpses a Warlock also holds the power of interferring with magic (it's kinda hinted at that all magic users can do this with mana) but the most important power is being able to make deals with the underworld. However the magic or powers the corpse uses is fueled by the Warlocks mana, so the Warlock works kinda like a battery to the corpse. A Warlock therefore doesn't have to do the fine tuning but they still need an understanding of for instance fire magic both to increase the corpses understanding but also to better use it in combat. The corpses then works as semi-automatic robots in that for instance if you wanted the corpse of an Elemental Wizard throw out a fireball you would order it and then the corpse casts the magic. How it works is that a Warlock needs to gain an understanding of a corpse, the higher the understanding the more power the corpse can show and the less mana a Warlock uses when controlling the corpse. These corpses can be both a human or a monster and they can use any powers the corpse had before death, in other words if you have a Elemental Wizard corpse it will still be able to use elemental magic when being controlled. Their kind of necromancers in that they foremost control corpses. Warlock: This is the class that the MC holds and the one explained the most. It's unclear how they choose the element they specialize in. Their not tied to a single element though they all seem to focus and specialize in a single element. So far they have been explained to hold the highest destructive powers. There is also a non-magic class explained called an Auror Knight.Įlemental Wizard: This one is probably pretty self-explanatory their able to transform their magic and even soul powers into elemental powers. It has been kind of hinted at that how it works is that a select few are able to use and move the mana in their bodies but that depending on their mana or something their magic class is chosen. So far there has been a mentioning of 3 different magic classes but only 2 has been introduced in the story far as I've read.
